(Daily Mail Reporter) - His grandfather was one of the most enigmatic screen actors of all time. Now Marlon Brando’s grandson, Tuki, is proving he has inherited the same magic in front of the camera.

The handsome 20-year-old, whose mother is Cheyenne Brando, the famed actor’s daughter with his Tahitian third wife, is one of the new faces of Swiss watchmaker TechnoMarine. The campaign, which will appear in magazines in June, shows the model gazing into the camera with a bold orange timepiece strapped across his eye in the style of a pirate’s eye patch. It represents a rebellious new image for the company, which admits its advertising has been somewhat stale to date. TechnoMarine CEO Jacques-Philippe Auriol told WWD: ‘The brand was at a stage where this renewal of communication was really needed.
'We are in a storytelling business, and unfortunately, I think the brand had little to say these last years.' The company now plans to add new faces to its roster every year. 'We’re building a portrait gallery and we want to build a saga for the coming 10 years or more,' Mr Auriol added. It is not the first time Tuki has caught the eye of a major label. His first job, aged just 15, was with famed photographer Bruce Weber for the cover of L'Uomo Vogue. He has since starred in campaigns for Versace and posed for Mario Testino. The success of his modeling career bears stark contrast to the tragedy of his personal life. Tuki's father, Dag Drollet, was shot dead by his uncle, Christian Brando in 1990. His mother was still pregnant with him at the time.
Cheyenne, who suffered from alcohol and drug abuse, was diagnosed with schizophrenia soon after his birth and hanged herself at the age of just 25, when Tuki was five-years-old. The boy was raised by his maternal grandmother, Tarita Teriipia, in Tahiti, where he continues to spend much of his time. Though he clearly has a promising modeling career ahead, Tuki is more than just a pretty face - he is currently studying medicine in Bordeaux, France. Marlon Brando died of pulmonary fibrosis in 2004. Though his grandson saw him regularly, he was excluded from the screen legend’s will, estimated to be worth over $22 million. The estate did, however, include Ms Teriipia, some friends and nine of his children.
